Job description

The sponsorship and Events manager is responsible for driving the growth of the brand within the organisation and ensuring all aspects of its marketing and brands match.

Duties of a Sponsorship and Event Manager

  • In charge of sponsorship soliciting for all brands in the organisation
  • Selling the services of the company enough to attract companies enough to sponsor our major events
  • Creating a brand plan and brand strategy and ensuring all aspects services of the companies activities align with the ethos and goals of the brand.
  • Coordinating every every event organised by the company
  • Collaborating with administrator/accounts in drawing events budgets and adhering to them
  • Championing the brand internally making sure all elements of the company understand the brand and its goals.
  • Taking the lead during event organisation and making sure all external agencies & contractors do their job in accordance with their MOU
  • Developing and sustaining strong working relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Developing high quality and effective marketing materials that align correctly with the overall brand strategy
  • Presenting the brand strategy to directors and sales and marketing teams at internal meetings and conferences.
  • Managing external agencies in collaboration with administrator and ensuring marketing budgets are met.
  • Seek out new marketing opportunities that fit with the brand and maximising all opportunities for growth.
